The Mountain

by Mandy Fox

I have lost my heart in the mountain side,
up upon the river's mouth,
wine dreams and lost fantasies,

Far away, why did you take me so far away,
promising me the snowy mountains,
the land of dreamy wind,
where the power of a storm will frighten me,
in search of loving slumber,
this coma of a town,
so wild,
I can't resist to exist,

Desert Sun, Canyon Gold,
by the mountain I'm drunk and dangerous,
such wrath,
so may I ask,
for the fresh mountain's air has dried up now,
no more forgiveness,
just throw me away,
far away and into the lip of the mountain,

There I will stay, and finally behave,
I can't see anymore,

Goodbye, fly awy,
Here I'll stay in this milky silky bliss,
and dream of what a life we could've had together,
forever,
now it's never
